Why I built this
Rambling a bit about why this is here and why it looks like this.
I got tired of sending a PDF and a LinkedIn and then having to explain myself anyway. So I wanted one place that actually says who I am, what I care about, and what I've built, in my own words. That way if we ever talk or work together, you've already got some context. You're not starting from zero.
If you're here you're probably trying to figure out whether it's worth reaching out or working together or just keeping in touch. I hope this helps with that. I'm not great at selling myself in person so the site does some of that work.
On the look and feel: I went with a dark theme and simple typography because I didn't want the design to compete with the content. There's a bit of animation but I tried to keep it low-key so it doesn't feel like a landing page from 2015. Everything lives on one scroll because I find sites with too many sections exhausting and I assume other people do too. It's also built to respect reduced motion prefs and load quickly, which are things I try to care about in stuff I build even when nobody asks for it.
